williamyandreaLos esposos Andrea Blanco y William Cardona, son una pareja colombiana que desde el año 2008 trabajan en los Estados Unidos, elaborando, des​arrollando proyectos y programas en pastoral familiar, catequesis y formación de adultos, para la comunidad hispana a nivel de Cursos Pre-Matrimoniales, Encuentros de Pareja, Escuela de Padres, Educación Sexual y Métodos Naturales de Planificación Familiar. Actualmente trabajan con la Diócesis de Raleigh-Estado de Carolina del Norte- en la Oficina del Ministerio Hispano y Pastoral Familiar sirviendo a más de 60 parroquias. Son los autores de las Catequesis Familiar,  y de las Catequesis para el Año de la Misericordia, recursos que se pueden encontrar en su página web: www.iglesiasdomesticas.com. Actualmente elaboran un ciclo de doce catequesis para las familias en el Año de la Misericordia, bajo la coordinación del Pontificio Consejo para la Nueva Evangelización.

George and Judy Clark have served in the fields of family ministry and community development for over 30 years. Since 1994, they have been the Co-Directors of Family & Adult Ministry and Counseling Services for St. Mark the Evangelist Parish in Plano, Texas. They previously served as Directors of Adult & Family Ministry for the Diocese of Dallas from 1980-1994 with Father Gale White. Judy is a former president of the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers (NACFLM) and served on its Education and Formation Commission for eight years. She holds a Masters in Adult Christian Community Development from Regis University and a Masters in Counseling Education from University of North Texas. She is a licensed professional counselor and specializes in family systems theory and marriage and family health. George holds a BA in Psychology and a Doctorate in Dentistry. He also has served in various positions of NACFLM leadership. Both George and Judy are adjunct instructors at the University of Notre Dame and are facilitators of the NACFLM Ministry With Families leadership formation series. George and Judy have been married 52 years. They have been blessed with three children and eight grandchildren.

David Dawson is the Director of the Family Life Apostolate of the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and he and his wife Kate have five beautiful children with another on the way.  David speaks internationally on faith and marriage, and he and Kate are the national coordinators of Domestic Church, a lay movement that originated in Poland with the help of St. John Paul II.  David holds a Master’s in Theology from Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans.

Kristin Detloff is the National Program Coordinator for SymptoPro Fertility Education, a Natural Family Planning program by Northwest Family Services. She has spent the past several years as the Vice President of The Guiding Star Project and presently serves on their advisory board.  Additionally, Kristin is the founder and administrator of Living The Sacrament, an online Catholic NFP support forum where she helps couples from around the world find local and online support as they journey through life using NFP.

Dr. Jim Healy

Dr. Healy has spoken in over 85 dioceses on marriage preparation and enrichment. Recently he was asked to travel to the countries of England and Wales as well as to Trinidad and Tobago to consult on Catholic marriage preparation programs and policies. His marriage preparation materials, including When the Cake is Gone: How to Be Married and Stay EngagedLiving Together and Christian Commitment, and Spirituality and Religion in Your Marriage, have been used broadly throughout the United States.

A counseling psychologist by training, Jim has been the Director of the Office of Family Ministry for the Diocese of Joliet in Illinois since 1989. He and his wife Madonna have four adult children.

Alice and Jeff Heinzen

HeinzenAlice and Jeff live in Menomonie, WI and have been joyfully married for nearly 36 years. They have three grown children who are all married and who have blessed them with an increasing number of amazingly perfect grandchildren – five granddaughters with another baby due in July.
Jeff is the President of the McDonell Areas Catholic School System in Chippewa Falls. Before taking this position, Jeff was the Director for the Office for Marriage and Family Life for the Diocese of La Crosse for seven years.
Alice serves the Diocese of La Crosse as the current director for the Office for Marriage and Family Life. Prior to assuming the directorship, she was the natural family planning coordinator for the Diocese. When they worked as a team, the Diocese of La Crosse advanced a number of ministries to married couples and their families. These ministries include remote, proximate and immediate marriage preparation, natural family planning education, marriage enrichment programming, parenting support, men’s and women’s programs and services to those who grieve.
Jeff and Alice are well-known presenters on matters of love and life both within and outside of the Diocese of La Crosse. In October of 2014, the Heinzens were invited by Pope Francis to participate in the Extraordinary Synod on the Pastoral Challenges of the Family at the Vatican. They were also delegates at the 2015 World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia. Both of them are delighted to be able to share their synod experience with us.

Kathy Hendricks is the National Catechetical Consultant for William H. Sadlier and contributing writer for their programs and the weekly blog, We Believe and Share. Kathy offers presentations across the country on catechesis, spirituality, and family and is the author of several books on family and spirituality. Kathy holds a Masters degree in Christian Community Development from Regis University and certification in spiritual direction from Benet Hill Center. She is married and the mother of three children.

Kathleen Hockey, LISW is a mental health therapist, award-winning author, and approved speaker for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, NM.  In 2005 she gave up a national speaking career in order to be more available for her children and husband.  During that time she pursued her longstanding interest of integrating depression treatment with practicing the Catholic faith.  Her work was published in Canticle (2007) and Liguorian (2011) magazines.  Currently she is counseling in private practice, speaking, and working on two writing projects.

A native of New Mexico, Ken Johnson-Mondragón has more than 15 years of experience doing socioreligious research on the Latino community in the U.S. He received the Mario Vizcaino Award in 2008 for his contributions to Pastoral Juvenil Hispana. In 2015 he began serving as the Director of Latino Research and Development for RCL Benziger. He is currently finishing a doctorate in Hispanic ministry at the Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, TX.

Tom and his wife, Rosemary, live in Georgia with their six children.

She manages the website W􀁠rw.foryourmarriage.org. Having experienced firsthand the trial of infertility, she and her husband Dan collaborated with the Archdiocese of Washington Family Life Office to establish an annual Mass for couples enduring infertility or pregnancy loss.

Claudio nació en Santiago de Chile y vino a Estados Unidos en 1994 como Misionero Laico con los Padres Misioneros de San Columbano,  se desempeñó como Misionero Laico en la Parroquia Inmaculada Concepción de Grande Prairie desde 1994 hasta el año 2000.  Posee una licenciatura en Educación Religiosa de Cloverdale College en Indiana y una Maestría en Educación Religiosa de Felician Univeristy en New Jersey. Ha trabajado como Director de Educación Religiosa en la Parroquia San Eduardo en Dallas, Tx. por 11 años y desde hace 5 años en la Diócesis de Dallas; primero como Director Asociado de la Catequesis para los niños y ahora como Director del Departamento de  Vida Familiar.  Claudio y su esposa Aida y sus tres hijas viven en Allen, TX son miembros y voluntarios de la parroquia San Marcos en Plano, Tx.

Linda Moses has a passion for Church and for family.  She has served in Faith Formation, RCIA, Adult and Family Ministry and Leadership Formation for over 35 years.

Linda is currently Pastoral Associate for Christ the King Parish in Dallas, TX and has a Masters Degree in Adult Christian Community Development from Regis University in Denver, CO.  She is also a Certified Bereavement Counselor and a national trainer for Strong Catholic Families, Strong Catholic Youth and Cultivating a Home Grown Faith.

Linda and her husband, Butch, are past Co-presidents of the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers, and are currently on the faculty for the Association’s Ministry with Families Formation Program.  She is wife, mother of 3, and proud ‘Nana’ of 6.

Dan Mulhall

Mar Munoz-Visoso es directora ejecutiva del Secretariado de Diversidad Cultural en la Iglesia de la Conferencia de Obispos Catolicos de los Estados Unidos, donde previamente ejerció como directora adjunta de relaciones con los medios de comunicacion. Antes de mudarse a Washington, Mar trabajo para la Arquidiocesis de Denver donde ocupo varios cargos, come editora del periódico diocesano El Pueblo Catolico, directora del Ministerio Hispano, fundadora y directora ejecutiva del Centro San Juan Diego. Mar posee una licenciatura en periodismo y una maestria en teología pastoral. Esta casada y es madre de tres hijos.

Ken Ogorek is Director of Catechesis for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in religious education. Ken is currently president of the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership and a member of the Evangelium Consulting Group. Most of all, Ken is a husband and dad who echoes St. John Paul II’s note that the future of humanity passes by way of the family.

Joseph Palmer is the Executive Director for Military Outreach USA. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 1974 with a degree in Political Science.  He served in the United States Air Force from 1966-1972 as a Security Police K-9 handler with service in Okinawa, Vietnam and the Philippines.  He has been active in developing programs for veterans and is an All American VFW Post Commander as well as having attained the prestigious honor of being an All American District Commander.  In 2015, Joseph wrote and had unanimously passed by the VFW a national resolution addressing veteran suicide. His most recent publication deals with the subject of Moral Injury: They Don’t Receive Purple Hearts. Joseph serves on the VA Voluntary Services Committee for Jesse Brown VA Medical Center as well as the Veterans Advisory Counsel to the Illinois Treasurer’s Office. He lives with his wife in Medinah, IL.

Michelle Rusk Ph.D.

He is originally from El Salvador and the oldest of 12 children. He immigrated with his family to the U.S. over 37 years ago.
