Secretariat of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth – USCCB

The Secretariat assists the Bishops on the Committee of Laity, Marriage, Family Life and Youth in the areas of laity, lay ecclesial ministry, the promotion and defense of marriage, domestic violence, strengthening marriage and family life, natural family planning, and youth and young adult ministry. The USCCB runs three marriage-themed websites:

• For Your Marriage: articles, marriage tips, real-life bloggers and more, all with the goal of helping dating, engaged and married couples at all stages to understand and live God’s plan for happy, holy marriages.
• Por Tu Matrimonio: Spanish sister site to For Your Marriage, run by the Secretariat for Cultural Diversity in the Church.
• Marriage: Unique for a Reason: catechetical site about the unique meaning of marriage as the union of one man and one woman, with print and video materials for teachers and catechists.

The LMFLY Secretariat has long partnered with NACFLM to promote the vocation of marriage and family life.
